Om Namah Sivaya

The other day when I was casually surfing I found this picture and I couldnt take my eyes off it.
I came to know that this is the "Shivalingam" in the Brihadeeswarar Temple located in Tanjore,Tamil Nadu.

This great temple has got quite a history and its architecture is simply superb. The gopuram of this temple is supposed to be the tallest in the world being 70m.

More about this temple can be founde here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brihadeshwara_temple
